Wyckoff's Florist & Greenhouse
opened as Grove St. Greenhouse on July 1st, 1881 in downtown Oneonta,
NY. It is the oldest Oneonta business still in its original
location. Over the years, it has had numerous owners, but none for
longer or more recognizable that Bob Groves. He began in 1940 and
still works part-time today. He began as a part-time butler for Mrs.
Wyckoff. When she decided to retire in 1954, Bob, along with Mrs.
Wyckoff's maid, Over the years, the building has been altered, greenhouses
have been added and removed, but the spirit of Grove St. Greenhouse lives
on in the high-quality flowers that we still provide. Please enjoy the
